The Silver Lining after the Storm
And how staying kind, gentle, and simple is the most powerful stance we can possibly take
“I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, and compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.”
~ Lao Tzu
If the last few years have taught us anything, it is that you can, with enough push and fear, sell people everything.
Even poison, even them knowing it could be poison, even when they know it is poison, even when they suffer from the effects of poison.
And how to weaponize compassion in the most malicious ways possible.
AND that there will always be people who will resist even the most pervasive, incessant, and full-on war on their minds and bodies, no matter what you threaten them with.
So the cloud has a silver lining.
The damage is done, and the truth will come out, and some of it can be healed, some of it, I am not sure about.
But some weathered through the storm, and if they can resist the "I told you so" symptom and instead hold compassion in their hearts.
The powers that "were"
are slowly but surely becoming "the powers that have been".
And this has nothing to do with current politics.
That is another distraction.
We can do better.
We will.
We shall overcome.
and come over to the other
side.
If we can stay kind, gentle, truthful, and powerful enough
no matter
what.
